Senior Data Scientist 80-100% (m/w/d)

About the role

  • Build models, tools and data products using technical knowledge in machine learning, statistical modeling, probability and decision theory, and other quantitative techniques
  • Be a strategic partner and work with business stakeholders to define high impact analytical use cases and find innovative ways to solve given problems with data
  • Partner closely with leadership on the ecosystem team to deliver insights and decision recommendations through experimentation and analysis
  • Develop, iterate, and deploy mathematical and machine learning models utilizing SQL and code (Python, R, etc.) to support the ecosystem team in providing the best end-to-end healthcare journeys for our consumers
  • Research and develop key metrics and performance indicators for the Zur Rose Group e-health ecosystem
  • Build dashboards and visualizations that enable the ecosystem team to self-serve metrics and trends effectively. Assist and educate on interpretation
  • Find ways to automate and scale repeating ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Passion for health
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics/Math/Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years work experience in SQL, R, Python to implement statistical models, machine learning, and analysis (Recommenders, Prediction, Classification, Clustering, etc.) in big data environment
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare or related industry with strong understanding of health related topics
  • Strong statistical knowledge and intuition - ability to tease out causality/incrementality vs. correlations; experimentation; understanding of predictive modeling; time series; probabilistic graphical models
  • Ability to do data analysis, reporting & visualization (QlikView, Tableau, etc.) at scale
